Millstreet's Logo as a watermark

The origin of the Millstreet name is based on the town in County Cork, Ireland, where Craig Kelleher's late father Timothy "Ted" Kelleher grew up. The town has a population of less than 2,000 and sits at the foot of Clara Mountain. The Millstreet logo was designed to represent not only the "M" and "S" of the Millstreet name, but the "M" also represents Clara Mountain while the "S" symbolizes the Blackwater River which runs near the town of Millstreet.

Objective

The objective of Millstreet is to exploit the inefficiencies within the small-to-mid cap segment of the High Yield and Leveraged Loan markets.  The Firm focuses primarily on this segment of the market, investing in a range of opportunities including new issues, the secondary market, and distressed situations.

Investment Philosophy

Millstreet focusses on both long and short opportunities that can be overlooked and/or misunderstood within the small-to-mid cap segment of the High Yield and Leveraged Loan markets. The Firm uses a fundamental value approach to identify catalyst-driven investment opportunities trading at significant discounts to underlying asset value. Typical credit investments are defined by less levered balance sheets, high free cash flow yields, more restrictive debt covenants, superior collateral packages, shorter durations, inherent catalysts and higher total return potential.  The team looks to bring deep fundamental credit analysis to less crowded investment opportunities within a well-established and time-tested risk management framework.
